Modmo is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Head of Sales to join our fast-growing management team. This person will work alongside our European sales reps, acting as their team leader and creating a winning commercial sales strategy for them to follow.

Modmo is an fast-growing urban emobility startup with ambitions to create the zero-emission replacement for your car. We’re 1-year old, have 35 people in Ireland, Vietnam, UK and Germany with plans to double our team size this year and 10X our sales. 

The sales team is focused on acquiring retailers, distributors, fleet operators, commercial partnerships amongst other types of wholesale deals.

The ideal candidate is at the intersection of strong strategic and analytical thinking combined with leadership skills to drive change. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and an impressive history of driving results, ideally within the bike industry. Most importantly, the candidate will deliver through strong relationships and use excellent communication to reach alignment across executive teams, keep projects on track while embodying Modmo’s key cultural tenets.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the strategic thought partner to various members of the executive team, helping shape the sales strategy across the entire business
  • Serve as the connection across teams including Sales, Marketing, R&D, production and other internal groups.
  • Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Lead and build an International Sales team
  • Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales leaders and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
  • Evangelize the product and personally help close largest deals
  • Work collaboratively across teams – including R&D, Production and Marketing
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives
  • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally

Salary: €50-100k+
